Meal Prepping Made Easy Series #3 of 6(prep ingredients, not meals)

Hi Reader

I know meal prepping can seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t always mean you have to spend hours in the kitchen cooking everything ahead of time. This week, I want to show you a simple hack that will save you time while keeping your meals fresh and flavorful!

The Key: Prep Ahead, Cook Later

You can set yourself up for success without actually cooking your meals in advance. The trick is prepping all the ingredients and storing them so that when you're ready to cook, you just throw them into your oven, crockpot, or skillet. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Chop Your Veggies
Wash, peel, and chop your veggies. You can store them in airtight containers or ziplock bags. That way, they’re ready to go when it’s time to cook. Think onions, peppers, carrots, zucchini, sweet potatoes – the options are endless!
  2. Season Your Meat
Take your protein (chicken, beef, pork, tofu, or whatever you love) and season it with your favorite spices or marinades. Then, pop it into a baggie or container. When you’re ready to cook, all you have to do is toss it in the oven or crockpot, and you’ll have a delicious meal without any extra prep.
  3. Use the Freezer for Longer Storage
If you want to get really ahead of the game, prep your veggies and meat and freeze them! You can pull out the ingredients the night before or in the morning, and they’ll be ready to cook when you are.

Why This Works
This technique saves you valuable time on busy days while still giving you the satisfaction of a homemade meal. You don’t have to cook every night – just prep and store, and you’ll be able to enjoy fresh meals in no time!

Here are a couple of recipes that will work for this style of prep.
