Series 5 of 5. Your Goal Is Calling But You Are Too Busy Trying To Quit

Hi Reader,

Here we are at the end of our accomplishing your goals email series. I hope you keep these, read these a few times and remind yourself that YOU ARE worth following through on something you want to do.

If you haven’t read the other emails in this series yet, you can catch up here

This week we will discuss the DON'T QUIT aspect of your goals.

I know you've all heard these before, at least some of them:

🌟Slow down, temporarily stop, take a side road but don't quit totally

🌟Winners never quit and quitters never win

🌟You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it

🌟Stay strong, never give up

🌟Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fall

🌟Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'

🌟Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other

🌟Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about

🌟When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it

🌟Successful men and women keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don’t quit

🌟Fall seven times; stand up eight

🌟The only time you fail is when you fall down and stay down

🌟She was unstoppable, not because she did not have failures or doubts, but because she continued on despite them

There are so many of these- you know why? Because at some point we will want to quit, we need some kind of inspiration to remind us to keep going.

Your goals will get tough, they will seem impossible, they will leave you questioning if it's worth it. Your goals will be HARD, they will require you to step out of your comfort zone, they may even require you to step out of your current lifestyle.

Remember you can always slow down and get turned in a different direction but do not stop. This is pure dedication to your purpose and mission, there are no big tricks to not stopping, sorry.

Imagine pushing through, learning from the process, reaching for the impossible and feeling the exhilaration of all that hard work and determination finally coming to fruition.

You made that goal for a reason.

Did you make your goal a S.M.A.R.T goal like we discussed in email #1?

did you write that reason down like we discussed in email #2?

Did you find an accountability partner like we discussed in email #3?

Have you started to do the reps consistently like we discussed in email #4?

Now is the time to keep going, NO QUITTING ALLOWED!

Here's a podcast you might enjoy. It's from Mel Robbins- I really enjoy her messages and I hope you do as well.

I also would recommend this book- Atomic Habits By James Clear It discusses how to make small habits to help you set yourself up for success. I've read it twice, each time picking up something different from it.

I hope you've enjoyed this email series! No matter how big or small your goals may seem, they are all worth pursuing. Achieving them will give you something to strive for, a sense of focus, and the satisfaction of progress.

This is one of my favorite things to read when I'm feeling the failure or quitting feels. I hope you enjoy it as well.

Get out there and get those goals, no matter how long they take you. Get after it!!!

Get That Goal!
